 إن الاجتهاد في الإسلام أقوى دليل على أن ديننا الحنيف هو الدين الشامل الخالد الوحيد الذي يساير ركب الحضارة الإنسانية عبر العصور والأجيال، ويرحب بكل التغيرات الطارئة والمشاكل الناجمة من تجدد الأحوال ، والمصالح على اختلاف المجتمعات الإنسانية في مشارق الأرض ومغاربها.
يعد الاجتهاد من أجل الأصول في معرفة ما لم يرد فيه نص  بعد الكتاب والسنة ، والتي أقرها الرسول - صلى الله عليه وسلم – لمعاذ بن جبل -رضي الله عنه.
لذا .. كان هذا الأصل ميدانا فسيحا للعلماء؛ لنظرهم واستنباطهم ، لا يألون جهدا ولا يدخرون فيه وسعا.
وهذا الموضوع جدير بالبحث ، لأنه  يعبر عن ظاهرة واقعية ومتكررة، وهي ظاهرة تغير الأحكام والفتاوي بسبب تبدل الأحوال، وتطور الأوضاع التنظيمية
Ijtihad in Islam is the strongest evidence that our true religion is the only comprehensive and immortal religion that keeps pace with human civilization across the ages and generations. Islam welcomes all urgent changes and problems resulting from renewed conditions and interests of different human societies in the east and west of the earth.
Ijtihad in the fundamentals to know what is not mentioned in any text after the Qur’an and Sunnah, which the Messenger (PBUH) approved for Muaaz bin Jabal .
 So, this principle was a wide field for scholars to put into consideration and deduction, they spare no effort and spare no effort for it.
This topic is worthy of research, because it expresses a realistic and recurring phenomenon, which is the phenomenon of changing rulings and fatwas due to changing conditions and the development of organizational conditions.
