 يتناول هذا البحث مسألة أصولية دقيقة تتعلق بـ"دلالة الأمر المطلق على المرة أو التكرار"، وهي من القضايا التي أثّرت في فهم النصوص الشرعية وتخريج الأحكام الفقهية. هدف البحث هو بيان المراد بالأمر المطلق، وتحديد ما إذا كان يدل على فعل مرة واحدة أم على التكرار، مع عرض أقوال العلماء في المسألة ومناقشة أدلتهم، واستنباط أثر الخلاف على الفروع الفقهية.
تبرز أهمية البحث في كونه يعالج أصلًا من أصول الاستدلال في الشريعة، وهو الأوامر الشرعية التي تخلو من القيود والقرائن، وتأثير ذلك في الأحكام العملية. وقد اعتمد الباحث مناهج متعددة، شملت: الاستقراء لتتبع آراء العلماء، والتحليل لدراسة الأدلة ومضامينها، والمقارنة لموازنة الأقوال في المذاهب المختلفة.

خلص البحث إلى أن القول الراجح هو أن الأمر المطلق لا يدل بلفظه على المرة ولا على التكرار، وإنما يدل على مطلق الفعل، وتحدد صفة التنفيذ بقرينة خارجية. وقد أوصى الباحث بدقة تحرير المصطلحات في مباحث الأصول، وربط الخلاف الأصولي بثمراته الفقهية، والتوسع في دراسة الأوامر الشرعية لمعرفة مقاصدها بدقة.

The structure of the paper includes three main sections: the first defines “command” linguistically and technically, along with its forms and meanings. The second discusses whether an unrestricted command indicates singular performance or repetition, presenting four major views (non-indication, indication of singularity, indication of repetition, and suspension of judgment). The third section illustrates some juristic issues derived from this debate, such as whether one tayammum suffices for multiple prayers, whether a woman told “divorce yourself” can do so more than once, and the practice of feeding the bereaved.
The research concludes that the strongest opinion is that the unrestricted command signifies only the general act, without indicating repetition or limitation to a single instance, unless clarified by external evidence. The researcher recommends precise use of terminology in legal theory, linking theoretical disputes with practical rulings, and further exploring the deeper objectives behind Sharī‘ah commands.
